Carnival of Healing #74

Posted in Carnival |

Did you guys submit especially great articles because you knew this was my first carnival? Wow, the wisdom just overflowed. I’m sure lots of folks will be helped by your collective knowledge. Let’s get started, shall we?

Hueina Su presents Celebrating YOU: The Leading Lady of Your Show posted at Intensive Care for the Nurturer’s Soul.

Remember, you are the Leading Lady and director of your own show. You are in charge and fully responsible for how your show turns out to be. If your show is competing for the Academy Award of Life, which categories will it be nominated? Which awards will you win? This Valentine’s Day, make a point to celebrate YOU, honor yourself, and give yourself the LOVE and star treatment you truly deserve.

The Law of Attraction is generating lots of discussion. See what Edward Mills has to say about it in his post I Disagree With Steve Pavlina About Polarity.

Likewise, Therese Borchard sounds off with Hardly a Secret posted at Beyond Blue.

Isabella Mori presents a great example of discussion between inner child and inner parent in journaling: a dialogue posted at change therapy.

Just in case your inner child had a rough time coming up, the next few articles should be just what you need–

Tyson Joseph’s The superhero guide to forgiveness? posted at Tyson Joseph.

OptmistLab.com presents a two part series, Understanding and Getting Over Your Difficult Childhood.

Speaking of the inner child, Lisa presents Prenatal Excercise: Yoga posted at Let’s Talk Babies.

If you needed more reasons as to why yoga and meditation are good for you, Caroline Latham presents, Are yoga and meditation good for my brain? posted at SharpBrains: Your Window into the Brain Fitness Revolution.

If all that yoga hasn’t calmed your mind, Ananga presents The Peaceful Mind over at Living by Design. Ananga offers this advice, “. . . if you can change the pattern of breathing, you can change the emotion.

Walt Nation! examines the mind from another angle in Pain is a Highly Concentrated Thought.

Shelley M. Fondren, CMT, says, “This posting is just a sampling of habits I’m constantly attempting to implement into my daily routine. I hope you find it helpful.” I don’t think you can have too many positive affirmations. Take a look at Happy New Year over at Massage, Mind & Body.

If your weight loss intentions need a little boost, the next two entries should do it–

John Smith’s Kalaeidoscope: Simple ways to turbo charge your metabolism! posted at Kalaeidoscope.

Craig Harper says, “Many people don’t want to hear that transforming their body is more about attitude, commitment and self control than it is about finding the right program, gym, diet, trainer or miracle-pill.” Read, So, You’ve Decided to Get in Shape….. Again (Part One) posted at Renovate your life with Craig.

Aparna presents Home remedies for hiccups posted at Beauty and Personality Grooming.

John Hill wants to know, Do You Bruise Easily? posted at Universe Of Success.

SpiKe presents 10 Practical Stress Reducing Tactics posted at Organize IT.

The Positivity Blog presents 5 life-changing keys to overcoming your fear posted at Personal Development with The Positivity Blog.

Finally, Clara Myers (that would me me) presents What’s In Your Water? posted at Mind Mart.

That concludes this week’s carnival. Check out last week’s carnival at OptimistLab. Next week’s carnival will be hosted by reikiblogger, and carnival archives can be found here. If you’d like to submit to, or host, future carnivals, please visit the Carnival of Healing Homepage. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! What’s your opinion on this?

Thank you. the Carnival, the collection of posts, the themes discussed, talk of it self that our mind (the spirit) knows no geographical boundaries. While writing in English, I talk Lithuanian …. language barriers are one of the greatest obstacles on the way to recovery.
The Carnival helps to expand self understanding by discovering ourselves in others. That’s the obligatory condition of the indeed healthy future-that’s my joy of today. Heartily thank you.
