Natural Energy Boosting Herbs
Feeling tired and sluggish? Do you feel like taking a nap everyday around 3 o’clock? Don’t reach for coffee or soda. Caffeine will just exacerbate the problem. Instead, start working some of these natural energy boosting herbs into your diet –
Ginseng – Siberian Ginseng has long been used in China for both male and female hormonal problems. It’s considered to be a particularly good herb for men because is helps relieve or prevent impotency. Ginseng is a great source of energy though, both mental and physical. It can help your body resist the effects of stress, and it normalizes both blood pressure and blood sugar levels. When used with Cayenne and Gota Kola, it’s considered to be an excellent quick energy source.
Gotu Kola – This herb is excellent for memory. When it’s used in combination with Cayenne, it helps stimulate blood circulation to the brain. When taken regularly, Gota Kola is said to improve learning ability.
Black Walnut – This herb is high in natural potassium, iodine and manganese. It strengthens and builds muscles, nerves, and tooth enamel.
Licorice Root – This herb is used for many things, but in the context of energy and fitness uses, it helps stimulate and regulate adrenalin production in your body.
Fennel – Helps regulate your appetite which is helpful when trying to lose weight.
Peppermint – This is a natural stimulant which can be used to replace coffee. It also strengthens the nerves and heart muscles, plus it cleanses and tones the entire body.
Cayenne – Also known as Capsicum, this herb is an all purpose stimulant that’s often added to various infection fighting remedies as well as energy and blood building remedies. Cayenne improves the bodies circulatory system. It helps the cell structures of arteries and veins so they’ll regain elasticity. It also regulates the blood and strengthens the heart. As one of the strongest herbal stimulants, it’s an excellent choice for boosting your energy.
Forgo the cheeseburgers and have a big green salad with seeds and lean meat for lunch. That will put food comas at bay. Follow up with a tall glass of licorice tea instead of cola. You’ll find your energy level starts to improve. If you don’t like swallowing pills, another option is a patch. Spot On makes a patch that delivers B vitamins and other nutrients through the skin. The ingredients are comparable to many energy drinks.
Now it’s your turn. I want to know what you think. Comment below with a quick response…

I took Ginseng infusion for a long time, but I had not made any effect. Then I found a wonderful plant – Schizandra. It kept my vitality all day long. So I think such herbs must be chosen individually.

I’m a long time user of ginseng, but many of these I had never heard before as energizers, and I really appreciate the recommendations!

the calendula herb may actually help stimulate your immune system and support improved microcirculation – that is the circulation of your blood right down to those tiny capillaries!
The calendula is easy to grow from seeds. Plant the seeds early in the spring and cover them lightly with about a quarter-inch of garden soil. Once the seedlings pop up, you’ll want to transplant them so they are about 15 inches from the other.
You’ll discover that they germinate early as well as grow quite quickly. And you’ll be pleasantly surprised they produce their very first blooms by mid-summer.
The best part of this wonderful plant is that it reseeds itself. Once you’ve planted them the first time, they will grow for years as long as you don’t disturb them.
