my daughter will have a really bad cough during the night if she eats hot chilli con carne. for some reason we thought it could be the kidney beans but it is only when my wife cooks the hot chilli that she gets the cough. we are now going to take her for tests and see what foods she is allergic to, you can never be to safe!

This is the first time I have heard of someone being allergic to chocolate. I know many Asians are allergic to milk. It give them stomach ache. Perhaps the milk content in the chocloate is a cause.

Good info! There can be numerous causes.

Our 14 year old son was breaking out in hives due to milk! My 16 year old had the same allergy when he was going through adolescence and then it went away, so don’t discount these stages of life as factors as well.
