Carnival of Healing #103
Posted by: admin

Carnival_of_healingWelcome to the 103rd Carnival of Healing! I’m happy to be a conduit to so much wisdom and advice. Thanks to A-ha! TV for doing a wonderful job as last week’s host. This week’s submissions seem to fall in three categories—physical health, personal relationships, and personal growth—so there should be a little something for everyone. No point in being shy. Let’s step right up to the first attraction.

Physical Health

Diet and eating habits are always a challenge, and two of you met it head on. Nneka presents How to Stop Eating Compulsively posted at Balanced Life Center. Scott Lee presents Eating & Exercising Healthy - The Key Points posted at Scott Free Thinking.

Stanimir Sotirov talks about a troublesome problem in his article, Juicy Power:How to fight kidney stones posted at All About Your Body And Spirit.

Aparna says, "Asafoetida, commonly called as ‘Hing’ is indispensable to Indian cuisines. Any prosaic dish can be turned tasty by adding heeng to it. Its persisting and penetrating flavor is acceptable to those who are used to it from childhood; few others may not prefer it. This aromatic condiment is not merely confined to adding zing to the food, but has a plethora of medicinal properties to its credit."

Over at Diary of a Bad Buddhist, Marie Drennan

Personal Growth

Tupelo Kenyon states,

“There are two approaches people use to manifest their desires. Some set goals. Others surrender and presume the universe is conspiring to deliver to them their every desire without strain, in its own way and in its own time. Which way is better? Can these two methods be used together?” at Goal Setting or Let Go and Let God posted at Tupelo Kenyon. Bringing it home for this week’s Carnival is Albert Foong’s sage advice. He

says, “Visualization is a powerful tool for many areas of your personal growth. It trains your mind and your body. However, it is not as easy as many think it is, and there isn’t much proper information available. Even if we can do it, the question is – how do we best apply it?"

Read 5 weeks to developing the magic of visualisation in its entirety at Urban Monk.

That concludes this weeks Carnival. Check out last week’s Carnival at A-ha TV. Next week’s Carnival will be hosted by Deepest Health, and carnival archives can be found here.
